Why You Still Need A Website

In 2022, there will be an estimated reach of 3.7 billion people on the internet and around 8.6 billion people with access to a mobile phone. This means that more than half the world's population will have access to either a desktop or mobile device! The average person spends just under 2 hours per day online, which is up from about 1 hour in 2010.  So, what does this mean for your business?

You still need a website in 2022! A website is the most effective way to reach and engage with your target market. It's also the best way to showcase your products or services and provide potential customers with all the information they need to make a purchase. Plus, a well-designed website can actually increase sales because people are more likely to buy from a company that has an attractive website.

Make It Easy For Your Customers

Your customers are more likely to visit your site if it's easy for them to find and navigate around on. Make sure your website is mobile-friendly and that all the important information is easy to find. As you will want to make sure it's updated regularly with fresh content. Everything a potential client or customer needs to know can be listed or explained on the website and will lead to attracting specific dream clients through intentional messaging and information vs. bad clients that might want to take advantage of you.

There are many ways to get the website you want and/or need these days. You can take a stab at doing it yourself with different platforms (Squarespace, Showit, Shopify, etc.), you can purchase a template and have a head start in your DIY journey, or you can hire a designer to customize the template or build a custom website for you. How do you determine which path is best for you? I'll give you a hint: it depends on your business, your budget, and what you're trying to achieve.

The keyword there is "help." I'm not saying that you can't do it all on your own - because you totally can!
